How to send survey invitations from your own email domain

Custom sender domain for survey invitations

By default, survey invitation emails are sent from a generic Unipark/Tivian address. You can configure Unipark to send invitations from your own institutional domain (e.g., @your-university.de).

Overview of the process

1. Add DNS records to your domain (see the DNS setup article).
2. Wait for DNS propagation (usually up to 48 hours).
3. Contact Unipark Support to confirm your DNS records are in place and request activation in the backend.
4. Once activated, you can select your domain as the sender in survey invitation settings.

Note: Step 3 requires manual action by the Unipark technical team in the AWS SES backend. Your domain will not be activated automatically.
