Who is eligible

• Institut, Campus, and Lehrstuhl (Professor) licenses: DPA-eligible without conditions.
• Student licenses (Einzellizenz): DPA-eligible only if the student is acting as a data controller — for example, collecting data on behalf of a company or institution (per EULA §13.3). Students collecting data solely for a personal thesis are generally not acting as data controllers.
