License upgrades and downgrades
As of February 2025, mid-term license upgrades and downgrades are not available. You must wait until your current license expires before changing to a different tier.
What you can do
- Wait for expiry: When your license expires, purchase the new tier through the Unipark shop.
- Check for a Campus license: If you need more capacity, check whether your institution has a Campus license that would cover you.
Why this policy exists
License tiers are tied to specific feature sets and billing periods. Mid-term changes would require complex pro-rata calculations and feature flag adjustments. To keep things simple and reliable, changes take effect at the next renewal cycle.
