How to duplicate / copy a project

Duplicating a project

Duplicating a project is the safest way to test changes, create a new survey based on an existing one, or run a follow-up study.

How to duplicate

  1. Log in to your Unipark installation and go to your project list.
  2. Find the project you want to copy and click the duplicate / copy icon (usually shown as two overlapping pages).
  3. The system will create a copy with a new project ID and a new survey URL.
  4. The copy includes all questions, settings, and logic — but no responses.

When to use duplication

  • Testing changes before applying them to a live survey
  • Running a new wave of a study using the same questionnaire
  • Creating a backup before making major edits

Important: Never modify question types on a live survey with existing responses — always duplicate first and test on the copy.
