Data retention policy
Understanding how long Unipark stores your data is important, especially when your license is expiring or you want to delete your account.
While your license is active
All your projects, responses, and files are stored for the duration of your license and accessible at any time.
After license expiry
- Days 1–5 — Grace period: Account is deactivated but data is fully preserved. Renew your license to restore full access immediately.
- Days 6–28 — Retention window: Account remains deactivated. Data is still stored but not accessible. Contact support urgently if you need to recover data in this window.
- After day 28 — Permanent deletion: All data is irreversibly deleted from Unipark's servers (AWS). This cannot be undone under any circumstances.
What to do before your license expires
- Export all survey data (CSV, XLS, or GPX format)
- Download any reports or attachments
- Renew or purchase a new license if you need to continue
Need to recover data urgently? Contact support immediately and include your account name, installation, and when your license expired.
