Data retention after license expiry
When your Unipark license expires, your data is not immediately deleted. There is a grace period — but it is limited.
The retention timeline
- Days 1–5 (Grace period): Your account is deactivated but data is fully preserved. Renew your license and your account is restored without any data loss.
- Days 6–28 (Retention window): Your account remains deactivated. Data is still stored but the account is in a dormant state. Contact support immediately to recover access before this window closes.
- After day 28: Data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from Unipark's servers. This cannot be undone under any circumstances.
What to do if you are approaching expiry
- Renew your license before it expires to avoid interruption.
- If you don't need to continue, export all your data before expiry (CSV, XLS, GPX).
- If you are already past expiry, act immediately — every day counts.
Contact support urgently if you are within the 28-day retention window and need to recover your account.
